The Golden Goose Shoes: The Best Shoes in the World

“I’m not really an artist,” she says.

“I don’t do anything that I’m not passionate about.

It’s not like, ‘Oh, I just like shoes.’

I really want to wear these shoes, and I’m passionate about them.”

The shoes are made in Taiwan by the legendary brand and, while not cheap, they are still worth the money. 

“You have to understand, I grew up in a small town in the United States.

I was lucky,” says Chloe, whose father is a shoe designer.

“But the shoe industry is very, very big, so it’s hard to get an education about it.

You’re always talking about the cost.

It makes me sad, but it’s important for me to get out there and tell people what I think.”

Chloe has been selling her shoes at fashion shows around the country for about two years now.

It wasn’t until she was 17 that she finally started making money off of them.

“A lot of people would think, ‘You’re just making money from the shoes.’

But it was more than that,” she explains.

“Because my dad is a designer, I started thinking about what the best shoe would be for him.

I wanted to make shoes for him that would be comfortable, stylish, and really functional.” 

In 2010, Chloe’s father died of cancer, leaving Chloe and her sister to look after her.

Chloe says she was in no position to pay the bills and started to sell her shoes online.

Her father, who was a regular at the mall and shopped in the shoe department, saw her buying her shoes on eBay and told her he was sold.

He told her to get a job.

“I was like, I have no idea what I’m doing, so I started selling shoes,” she recalls.

“And I started doing it slowly, slowly, like, three months at a time.”

By the time she started working at a fashion store, Chloe had made a couple of thousand dollars in sales. 

At first, Chloe felt bad about how her father treated her.

She says that, at the time, he had only been selling shoes.

“It wasn’t anything serious,” she admits.

“He was a normal guy.

He just liked to sell shoes, he didn’t really care about anything.”

But after Chloe started selling her items, she realized she needed to change her father’s way of thinking.

“So I started making the shoe myself.

I would go to my dad’s shop and start buying his shoes and then go out there with my mom and my sisters and get their ideas and their designs,” Chloe says.

Chloe’s father was “kind of like a grandfather figure to me,” she remembers.

“In fact, we were like, we’re going to buy a house, and we’re just going to do this and this and that.

I thought, Dad, you know what?

I don’t need to worry about this stuff.”

But it wasn’t easy.

She and her siblings had to work long hours, which is what made it difficult for Chloe to buy clothes and shoes for herself.

“That was tough.

And that’s why I wanted it to be my career,” Chloe explains.

By 2014, Chloe was selling her inventory of shoes online, which made it possible for her to start making money on her own.

“You need to know the money you’re making,” she stresses.

“Your shoes are not worth as much as if you had a store selling them.

You need to understand what your shoes are worth, and you need to figure out how much money you’ll make in a year from selling them.”

Chloe started making shoes for her father and began selling them at fashion show after fashion show.

At first, she made the shoes for a couple hundred dollars, but by the end of the year, she was making thousands of dollars a month from selling her collection of shoes.

At the end, Chloe realized she had to change how she was selling the shoes.

It was time to sell them in stores, and she did it with her sister, who would also start selling her products online.

“She was like a little girl at first, and it took a while for her, because she was really excited about it, but once she did, she kind of stopped,” Chloe recalls.

One of the biggest challenges of selling Chloe’s shoes online was finding a store that would accept them.

It took Chloe about a year to find one.

Chloe decided to open her own store, which she has been doing ever since.

She started out selling shoes at her father-in-law’s store, and then eventually opened her own online store.

In 2014, she sold her collection at fashion events and sold a total of about 3,500 pairs of shoes in the last six months.

Despite selling so many pairs of her shoes, Chloe is not concerned about the price tags
